Muzzy dog bones (question)
Currently I am using the middle hole for street and strip but was wondering if any of you guys are using the lowest position hole. I weigh about 230lbs so I am thinking maybe the plastice will start to touch down. If I can ride the bike on the lowest hole on the street it would save me time lowering it when I get to the track.

There's no way you can use the lower hole on the street unless you crank your spring pre-load way up, and even then with your weight you'll bottom out on occasion. The low hole can make the bike too low for most sanctioned rules if you get inspected.

I had mine on the lowest hole. It scraped the lowers in turns at very slow speeds and the wheel well took alot of abuse and some plastic lose.

I used to ride around on the lower hole as well, scraping plastic on corners without even leaning much, but my preload was set to lower the bike as well, AND I only weigh 140 nekkid.
I agree with HotRod Ninja in that the ONLY way you could even THINK about it is if your preload was set to have the bike as high as possible, then the lower hole might be rideable for you.
At 230#'s though, I think you'll be wasting your time.
You might consider some adjustable links for $100 or so from Kennedy's or Spencer Cycle if he's making them. It only takes about5 min. to raise or lower the bike and you can do it on your own with an open-end 9/16" wrench.

I heard that Pat from Circuit 1 had a run in with Eric Doren of EDR at Portland this past weekend. The story is Pat came up grabbed Eric and head butted him in the face. Sounds like Pat was escorted from the track and the rumor is he is banned from the track for a year. Don't know the whole story but doesn't sound to good.

He's an asshole, and he's not only banned from the track, he's banned from any WMMRA event for a year. Good riddance!

I know Swft + Zhooligan are in the Mentor ranking of Motorcycle Knowledge, but i have to say that I felt alot more confident on my bike with the suspension set up for me by Pat... Could someone else have done it? Sure... But, I hope Pat get's it all straightened out 'cause he is REALLY passionate about what he does.
It doesn't seem to be just a JOB for him.
Sure, some anger management wouldn't hurt...
