Won 2nd race for this year!!
Hey just wanted to let everyone know that I won My 2nd event for the year on saturday... at my local track.. it was a crazy weekend and I really should not have won but sometimes it pays to be lucky... and a Win is a Win no matter how it pans out... my clutch was roached and I fell off slightly in the final, just have to tune in that lockup a little more... and we should be good to go... also had some kind of a problem.. could feel it? so have the motor almost ready to pull today, and tommorow night we are pulling it back out. I believe it is in the tranny?? not sure but I have to open her up and see how she looks inside... but with the new gearing the bike was an animal.. almost uncontrolable!! did have one good pass I felt and ran a 6.05@121.6 in the 1/8th... so I was pleased with that... my buddy even said I was wheeling crazy on that pass, but didnt feel that bad to me... be in the 5's soon...

What kind of problem was yr bike showing? Missing gears? Making wierd noises?
What gearing are you using now?

17/51 gear, and yes I will take luck also.. but Id rather just be good. LOL... and Bear I havent done any side by side comparisons yet, they are in the bike, but I have a lot to tune in still.. I will keep you updated..

I guess that explains why you didn't show up at Earlville Sunday. It was a great day for racing. My '02 works perfectly. I turned a 9.81, but it's only got 800 miles on it, so I know it will run better. I don't have a full map in it yet either. I'm 1 for 1 this year.

We are getting ready to have our big Drag day on the 9 th of june and a friend of mine from the USA is coming out to ride my bike on the day
So I had the bike on the dyno and took out the stacks to see if it made a diff,YES 245hp with stacks and 236 hp without but the rubber stacks are 46mm on 48mm trottle bodys so it does not mean mutch but i think it was interesting

Your noise/feeling COULD have been the clutch chattering with the lock-up???
