There was a sparse turn out at Atco this weekend. It seemed like maybe 400-600 people in attendance.I was there to see the spiderman's 5 sec run and disappointed when he had clutch problems and went out in the 1st round.Gadsen had been running teens all weekend but slowed in the finals to Velocity Racing.
I was very impressed with how well the 1000's ran.I also learned about heating the tires on the side and then the middle while ending the burn out to not wear out the tire prematurely.Cupcake pans make nice parts holders and top fuelers burn 5 gallons a run.
Overall I had a great time and enjoyed listening to everyone talk about their runs.

there were a couple of 14's but they seem to look skyward just befor the 60' mark.I don't remember their times as I was watching more the 12's who were high 9's,low 10's except for one bike in the low 9's.Colby Adams was there on a 14,I just wasn't watching the times after awhile and liked the pit scene better.
