nitrous ?
I have a leak in my system some place(I run both shifter and spray off one bottle)and was looking to cleanup or simplify the system.I came across a block manifold,4-1,that'll work.My question is,has anyone used plastic lines for their nitrous? It was mentioned in the discription of the block and I didn't think plastic could hold that kind of pressure. How well does it hold up?

I posted some time back that I had a bad experience with plastic lines. They seem to work fine on bikes which have plenty of room to make smooth, flowing runs of the plastic. Mine were inside of the air box and had some moderately sharp turns in them.
The only one that was without bends was going to cylinder # 4. Cylinder # 4, after a couple of runs, melted the piston and scored the block. Upon examination, each run to cylinders 1,2 & 3 had holes in them where the bends were. The nitrous apparantly went straight out, mostly towards # 4. Since it was getting all the nitrous it was supposed too, when it sucked up all the stray nitrous shot towards it with no corresponding additional gas, the cylinder melted. Cost a couple of grand for that experience.

Many nos systems use plastic lines after the solnoids, where pressure is less and the time in limited. In the shifter setup , after the regulator pressure, should be 140 or less.
Buddy I'll have to check mine, but i've have plastic inside the air box for over a year.

Ninja, maybe your lines were run smoother than mine. Mine were ran pretty much like a wire bundle and secured. The bends were not sharp 90 degree bends, but were apparantly too sharp for the pressure.
I replaced them all with brass lines and have had no more nitrous problems. That was a fun job too (not),

I KNOW SOMEONE RUNNING UR SAME SETUP W/ AIR SHIFTER AND NOS ON SAME BOTTLE. PLASTIC LINES BLEW THREE TIMES. SWITCHED TO STEEL BRAID NO PROBLEMS.
