I think so.It was the one closest to the clutch.Low end still bogs so I know its off there but then it catches and lights the tires with old fat ass on it.I didn't open it up except when the tire was spinning so I don't know about top end.Shift light never came on.Pulled the #4 plug this morning and it had a slight grayish haze to it.I was set for Tues. but I'm going to reschedule to Weds.for the dyno.

Final #'s are 179/103.I feel kind of disappointed because at 1426,I thought I'ld be much higher especially when piped bikes can get that.Oh well time to get ego out of the way and go to t&t tomorrow and just have a little fun.
It will be the first time this year.

Pete, dont feal bad. Like I said in the post on my 1375, Johns 250i reads low. ZX10's read 140's stock 12r's low 150's, stock busas low 140's etc.
But with that said, It does seem a bit low. like 10hp low.
You might want to do a compression check on the engine when its hot. And also a leakdown check.

I had this since last year by selling my harley.I always wanted a stroker so I had falicon do it.Last time together it put out 196 at Eastern Cycle Performance.Even at that I thought was low.I even tried the akro instead of the Ti-Force pipe.

entropy,it's been awhile since I've measured them, but I thought they were around 240 or 250 all the way across. The only difference now is I put a base gasket in when the head was milled.

SBM block,JE pistons,ex valves from APE as are the springs.stock cams(105/103)no porting. .040 piston to head clearance.balancer removed, muzzy timing advancer set at stock but will retard 11/2 *,stock cam chain tensioner back in.

my experience says that with .040 quench, 240-240 cold cranking, stck cams, stock head pump gas, you oughta be making low 190's on a garden variety dyno. Add oxy fuel you might crack 200-205.. Just my experience.

Don't worry about piped/stock motors making 180hp; pure happy dyno. You'll kill em at the track.

Pete, run that engine and get it warm and then check the compression on all four cylinders.
Make sure the throttle is wide open when you do it.
You should do a leakdown check as well. If you dont have a leakdown checker I can check it for you maybe this weekend.
Somthing is going on. Are you 100% sure the two fuel lines are on correct?

I would set that ignition advancer to +3 degrees also. My bike likes +3 with the 1375. It liked +5 with the 1199 setup.

Did you have the rings off the pistons when you took it apart?

my torque curve is a straight line from 6000 over.I'm leaving work in 2hrs for Lebanon Valley,I shouldn't worry about hp because I can't launch for shit, but it is fun.

Pete, it looks like a similar power curve just lower across the board for some reason.

I went to LV last night and couldn't even come close to 9 sec.had to foot shift all night because of no2 bottle leaking down. The idle is starting to hunt alot and stalls frequently.Somethings up.Rider went down last night, snaked on the line amd got thrown. He was banged up but walked away. That'll always put a scare for the next launch.

Pete is it possible the MPH is low because you couldnt get the throttle open?Sometimes they are such a handful they are hard to get the throttle pinned hence the low MPH

Mph don't usually change as much as ET.
As a general rule you can get better mph with slower ETs.
Check things like sliping clutch, and draging breaks, first.
What tire pressure are you running?

I had 23lbs. in the back tire and wasn't slipping. It just felt so slow to watch the tach move going down the track, felt like doing a sudoku puzzle while it revved.Still waiting on MadMike with a set of coils and I think I might need another map sensor as the bike was hunting again at idle the last 2 runs.I've been away to Cape cod all week, nice to be back.
