rear shock set up

i had a ohlins rear shock and i went to a stock to see how that would do at the track because the shock was set up for a 360 # rider and im 235 so i thougt this would work so when i was removing the shock the bike droped and broke the top off of the ohlins what a dumb that life and my luck frist time out the bike would slam when i would leave the line so i jacked the spring as fare as it would go and still no luck so i took apart my ohils apart and stole the spring and bulit a spacer but my 60 ft still sucks it a 04 10 6 over and lowered and straped i got the bike to do a 158 60 ft before with the ohlins and now im luckey to get it into the 168 the part i broke is the top of the shock and called ohlins and they told me it would be 300 for the part and another 90 to rebuild 400 dollar f**kup any help would be greate thank for your time went to the track last night and on the bottle went 1.70 60ft 118 in the 1/8 and 9.82 at 149 the power is there just cant get off the line anymore
