front sprocket for a zx14
What sprockets interchange with the 14? needing a 16 tooth front sprocket. Also need 2 know what length the dogbones would be for lowering a zx14 2 inches? All info would be greatly appreciated. Im thinking of modifieng zx11 dog bones as they look similiar.

any front sproket for a zx11 or zx12r will fit.
Get adjustable bones. to set up any desired height.
I lowered each end 1 and 1/4 , as the front fender will slam the body work if lowered more, when suspension compresses.
I was set 1.25 frt and 2.5 rear but the street cornering suffered... frt tire push... big time !
Too bad ... with lowered CG it was way less wheelie prone.
The 14 links are curved.
But spacers on the bottom, and longer bolt will do the trick.
The lower spacers are 1/2 inch wide each side, so bottom bolt will be 1 inch longer than stock, this will allow use of straight bones.
The ones schnitz sells are set up with bolt and spacers.
The lower cowling has stayed off mine... ease of adjustment, and it looks dumb with the big gaping hole on left side where the stock left pipe used to be... Brocks 4-1.
