Island dragway,NJ
Took a ride out there to check out the track and watch the bikes.Only a handful.They called the cops on one rider for threatening and chased him off the grounds.Seems he waited 3 1/2 hrs to race and as he was going up to the line,they asked him if he had a license.Pissed him off and he vented.
Track had a bump 100 feet out in the right lane.It caused some wheelies until they moved over in the lane.Only 7 bikes and 3 sleds.I parked next to an alcohol car and was trying to get them to back the car in so the fumes would go in my open windows.It's nice to savor the aroma all the way home.

a lot of tracks do not like bikes... that is for sure...

I dont go to Island anymore...In the right lane there is a joint seperation in the concrete as soon as you launch and the shut down is bumpy and way too short going into a curve...
I go to RacewayPark-Englishtown,NJ...ATCO in Berlin,NJ...MIR in Mechanicsville,Maryland...

CR, this was the first Sat. I was able to get away otherwise I would have gone to Etown.This weekend was some swap meet.I heard you boys have a couple of weeks off for TSB.

Hello All! I'm new,.....(as I'm sure you can notice), and bikeland has a dragbike zone...... funky. And I can say reading some of these threads I'm definately learning more here than the Smackhouse.
I ride a ZX9R and dragraced for a few years. (Different bike).
