Doesn't look that way. I have to fab some spacers and maybe a new axle to get a set of 10r wheels to fit on the ZRX. I'm gonna try to make it to Valdosta this Sunday, and Gville next Wed.
Dana always flies on his 10. He's a good rabbit for you to chase.

Trick, not trying to piss you off man, dont get all riled up. If your bike is bone ass stock, as in show room with a bottle , then yeah, that is good. Mine is stock as in, the motor has never been opened up, but I got the shit tuned out of it, to my best ability, but it has never been on a dyno, I trust the improvements I am getting with brocks map, and what I gained with his pipe, plus all the other little this and that stuff, chassis wise, and tuning that I have learned from all the guys here and on other sites........
What does your bike weigh and what does the rider weigh....... My bike is under 500, and am 170 to 175 suited up. I hate seeing busas motor to motor out run our 12s, because we can out run them all day long, just trying to help man. The 1/8 mile mph was what really caught my eye, thats what I turn in the heat , and I turn 123 to 126 if the barometer and temp is right..........
So what I am saying is, if I can do it on motor, and your package is near my weight, you should have some more left in it............., take it how you will, but if there is more, thats a good thing........, you just gotta find it. I turned a 1.37 and 1.39 short time this last race, I know the clutch is not there yet, and I am stoked to have gone that "slow", cause I know there is more left......., I think 1.35 is there........., which will put me damn close to 5.7s in the 1/8.
If I offend I am sorry. I did get the name Nox , for short of obnoxious...........

Those are great short times NOX, can you give us all the details of your setup? What arm, tire, wheels, shock, clutch, ballast, ground clearance, etc etc. Just a pipe & mapping? Or still no PC?
What was the best 60 foot when you ran with a bar & slick?

Hopefully i'll see TD and Dean in June - i like watching Dean run that turbo monster! NOX - come to Gville - you won't run those MPH' s in our humidity...

What is the humidity? With 70% humidity I have turned 121, 124 and better with low 30% humidity, and that was with over 2000 DA corrected air...........
I wish I lived over on the coast where there are so many tracks. Houston is 12 hours from me, Memphis is close, but no good bike racing, Poopstar comes once a year, and Nopi is not coming back. STL is as close as they are coming, and they have cut payouts. I mad the semis last year, and got didly squat.

Sorry dean, missed your post.........
2 1/8 inches of clearance, Brock sidewinder, his map, 68 inches, Coby Adams arm, the long one that Jackshow used to have, 9-16 over, 2002 model bike, PCIIIr, U4, Mcr2, stock shock, not revalved, with a link pro, stock wheels, no slider, muzzy lockup, no ballast, air shifter, basic stuff............, I really want some mag wheels though, oh, and just put in aset of Bear Mixed stacks, gonna see how they do.
With the bike at 64 with bars, similar to zxboys set up, (we used to trade info on the phone alot, I ran 5.7s in the 1/8, with no pipe or pc, and 1.32 short times, I could have gotten 1.20s with the new pipe and all. Last time it was on the quarter with a slick and bars, it went 9.10 at 148 with a 1.45 short time. It would have went 8s with the right clutch tune up. I think I can get 8s on motor right now, but I think it will be too hot. I will be happy with 9 teens at the King of the Track race............., but I have to skip the Rusk event......, so its gonna be hot when I get there........
Here is a pic of the bike as it is being run right now.........

I would like to put nitrous on it, but I want my chassis set up right first. I want to get as fast as I can go on motor first. I was not trying to piss anyone off, I just thought that more et and mph could be gained with a 40 shot. But, come to think of it, there was a guy here, who had a blue 2002 model, with , I think a stealth system on it, but I know he had a 60 shot at least, and I dont think he got into the 8s, muzzy pipe, pc, 68 inches, etc. He is known for being a good rider, but even with a 1290 motor in it with the new owner, it did not run well the last time I saw it at the track......., I always thought HP could overcome alot of rider error, but I guess not that much............
Let us know if you get into the 8s...............

Nox - many people have doubted me but bikes just do not pull the same MPH on motor over here for some reason.
Many people tell me i'm wrong but not many show me at the track.
My 1397 makes 122 in the 1/8th and 151 in the 1/4. Bad passes for me at 62" are high 9.30's and average seem to be 9.18-9.24 carrying the front thru 1st but that is due to my lack of proper gearing and just plain being a bad rider...
Seems likes te bikes making the 8.80's runs around here are hill climbers but i am determined to get in the 8.90's at 62"...
You are moving - congrats!

Yes NOX, you are correct. Rider was 140 lbs.
My personal best was 9.11 and I weigh 200 flat, probably 215-220 all suited up.
ZRX Dean, here's what I got....
2000 ZX-12R
Stock engine
Pump gas, Chevron 93 octane
NAARDEN Draglinks
K&N's at time of passes, but have since installed BMC's
Muzzy Sidewinder without baffle
MRE air shifter, MSD shift light
Muzzy clutch hub upgrade
Muzzy billet basket
Catalyst drag-step seat
8" over extended swingarm
DID ZM Gold X-ring chain
Shinko 003's front 120/60, rear 190/50
AMSOIL fully synthetic M/C oil
RC Components wheels
Modified oil pan
Weather conditions were favorable for some quick times that night.

No, thats not his bike, its mine..............., top pic is as it is now.
Bottom is how I ran it for a few years........., 5.7s in the 1/8 with no pc , that day the track sucked, fropappy got to see some second gear tire smoke and me fighting the hell out of it............
Bad thing was, two weeks earlier, it went 1.31, 3.71 and 5.72 at that same track, with no pc, and without brocks pipe
that day i was spinning mid 1.40s, and doing a lot of yelling...........
thats racing..........
I do miss those low 1.30s, but I am back in the 1.30s, did a 1.37 and 1.39 two weeks ago, get another hit at it this sunday, made an adjustment to the lock up, we will see how she likes it...........
Good pics fropappy
