VOZ,
It's that same ole "what works on one bike may differ from another" syndrome. Saying that though, I tried several settings on back to back dyno runs and ended up at 2.5 for my bike too.
5 degrees made a tad more hp and tq but with my little compression bump I was worried some with this watered down gas we have here.

after timing i will adjust TPS... hopefully i will be good with the +2.5. no dyno to check it all out with

Hey Voz, You know I have never installed a PC in the Blue 12 and no timing advancer!!!

If ya want better gas mileage then ya need to go back to OEM sprockets and keep the RPMs down...If ya want to get more HP, I recommend mr9 or u4 if ya dont want to spend all that $$$...It's expensive but that gas is worth it to me!!!

CR,

you are only making 1/4 trips, I dont drag alot ...was that not eveident at MIR last year
.. i dont have funds to switch to the latest and the greatest evry few years so my 12 will be with me FOREVER!! now i might add to the stable... that being said, i just want to make it ride smoother it alreday has enough power for me....

NOX, I had my problems with them so i will stay away{must have been an early batch} heard decent things about the USB one, so i will try it...

Voz I think the advance will help you with making the bike a little smoother....put in some advance and see how you like it.It did not cost much and it's an easy bolt on.

Call Brock and ask him about timing advance on a zx12.......................

Before you do, look at the dyno chart that was run with the sidewinder on an 02 model..........
