ZRX Dean gets the big DQ
Dean dude I just heard THAT SUCKS!!!! oh and it cost me 20 bucks... you tell the guy who built your kit, he owes you a bunch of $$$....
I am glad you had some good times.... and had a good first race... tell us exactly what you were DQ'ed for ?
I heard your turbo inlet was .010" to large in diam...

It's my own fault. The rule is 54mm turbo max inlet limit, and my compressor wheel is 53.8mm, but when you add the clearance around the wheel, the inlet measure 54.5mm. I figured that if the wheel passed, the slight overage would be allowed, and I was wrong. Oh well. Johnny Dobrin was DQ'd for not running a seat. We were both pretty amazed, but, dems da rules.
On the bright side, I ran an 8.61 @ 176, with room to improve. I'll get my turbo legal and try again in Atlanta next month. I'll post a few pics on another thread.

That sucks Dean! I left after 1st round. You'll do just fine when you get the other turbo and you will be competitive in that class...
