oil pump question! 2002 zx12r when i first got the bike oil pump sucked really quick now i start the bike oil level glass empties after about 7-10 seconds do i need to replace oil pump or just needs to be cleaned dropped pan already and checked to see if screen is clogged screen is clean still does same thingcan any one help before i start replacing and refreshing things that may not need it.

Oh you can pull the oil pump/water pump out and make sure everything looks good, internally.

since you have found a clean pickup screen and presumably you didn't find any, and i mean ANY sparkly stuff in the oil pan, maybe you'd wanna do an oil pressure test. Simply pull off the oil pressure sender and hook up a guage. if you do it, there is plenty of info here about what pressure you should be seeing.
