Good luck finding one, there aren't many on the market. But if you plan to spray or boost your motor, I HIGHLY suggest going with a Muzzy nikasil block, and not SBM's steel sleeve - his won't hold a head gasket with a power adder. -Dean

don't take this the wrong way but WHY??????
even with head work , cams ,big bore and carbs you will still be less than a pipes 12.
and you bike will stop slower and handle worse than a 12, and 12's are a good buy for the buck.
and heck I am a Busa owner.

If you find one of SBM's that was sleeved by MTC and has been decked a ton, it's my old one that was stolen!

Willard, I had a 98' zx-11 back in 1999. I was having a VERY HARD TIME against the 1999 zx9's which were new at the time along with the 1999 R1's. I also was looking for more power and your current direction for an answer. However, a zx-11 is very OLD technology even back in 1999. In all ways but seating position, the zx9 was superior, so I just loved the bike for what it was. Then in 2000, I bought a zx12..........never rode it again and sold it in the fall of 2000.
Hope that helps your search.

JC, that'd be a Busa with a hairdryer.
If I had to do it over again with what
I think I know, I'd have a 1397 Busa
with about 6-8psi of boost and $5k
in the bank. But I am a retard!
