1490 block

E bay has a 1490 block up for bid now.I asked and he said it was a Muzzy block that had been sleeved.Anyone ever hear of that for the 12?That must have a hell of a lot of offset.

I figure after having the sleeve fixed,it would still require custom pistons and head gaskets. At 2.12mm on each cylinder side over the 1320 block I have,I'ld think you'ld have to machine the head combustion chamber for the offset.Sounds like alot of work.I wonder if the cylinder is actually smaller but he has alot longer stroker in there?

I think that would have to be a typo. Even the 1317 block has little to no superfluous "meat" between cylinders, and even with pretty maximum stroking gets "only" up to 1427.
