Gearing for a 1270 kit?

What should I gear a 1270 bike with a shootout tire?

I think I'd go 17-50,51 and make it a 5 speed. You've got a 6 inch arm, right? The lower first gear ought to help with consistancy and clutch life.

I agree with Ken...the 51 should be good for mid to high 150s MPH in 5th...
Go with the 50 if you want to be SURE she doesn't hit the limiter in 5th at 156+ with only 10-12psi in the tire...
