Coming soon!!! Billet Oil pan with swing pickup!!!-ZX12R
Ok guys just wanted to let everyone know that there is a Billet Oil Pan totally in the works and it is about 1/2 way complete, I am figuring in the next 2-3 weeks the first complete pan will be done....
As soon as everything is finished I will post an add with all of the pricing and etc.... this pan will not only work for dragracing it will also work great for the dwarf car guys.....
just a little teaser.... it is about 1/3rd larger then the busa pan, and it is not going to be cheaper..... but how low do you want to go...

that is not 100% yet, but we are trying to finish the design so you can use a stock pipe, but then you will not be able to lower it any more then your pipe allows....

That is true, but if there is any doubt in a guy's mind about the OEM pickup being an issue (especially with our recent conversations about the stock oil pumps in the 12R being inadequate vs the pickup sucking air), this would put it to bed. If this will work with stock fairings and aftermarket (not Sidewinder) pipes, I am in like sin....
Are you intending to do an exchange program for the OEM pan?

BigCC Racing do these. Mike Burman has one on his 232mph ZX12R.

I did a search on their web page and did not find anything? do you have a link.
thanks!
Oh I dropped the muzzy header off at the shop today, so they can try and make a stock style header work.

It's not a dry sump, it has a swinging pickup.

Lorcan, does the BigCC racing pan take the stock header?
If not, MadMike, I definitely would be interested in your pan if it or an option of it can take stock header. (Or maybe even if the BigCC one does.)

I don't know how much oil they hold - I'll find out from Mikey. He has been running his all year with no problems, he runs 8.4s at the track and has run a couple of flyers at over 230mph. I dunno about the stock headers, both the bikes I have seen them on have been turbos. I'm not connected to BigCC so I don't have a price - you would have to speak to Sean and he is at the NEC show at the moment. The Busa version is £395UKP though, that's about $700USD.
