Bradenton Runday Sunday 9-5pm Oct 23rd
Anyone going to Bradenton this weekend for Runday Sunday? It's usually pretty crowded, but they are good about fitting the bikes in every 45 minutes or so. Track always hooks well too. Weather should be nice - cooling off down here these days.

I noticed on your bio that you live in Gainsville. Why are you commuting to Bradenton when you have such a fine local drag strip? Doesn't the Grainsville track have open Sundays periodically?
In case you've moved to the Bradenton area, I organize Sunday Group rides from SR50 south as far as SR70. We ride the best remote winding and scenic roads in west central Florida. These rides are for experienced riders only. There is a dress code. Most riders wear full leathers.

Thanks for the offer Dave, but TB is right, I don't ride my ZRX on the street much anymore. It has become more 'strip focused' in the last couple years. The street is too dangerous in any case 
I go to Gainesville as often as I can, but they have their Super Chevy Show this weekend, so no bikes.

Gville doesn't do nearly as much cool Sunday stuff as Bradenton or Moroso or Valdosta - their track doesn't hook as good either.
I can't imagine Dean being able to slow that beast down for a corner...lol...
Dave - do you ever ride with Rob Clay from Ocala? He is very experienced and rides like a demon on his weekend stuff!
Weather looks horrible for this weekend anyways..

I don't know the gentleman you mentioned. Ocala is somewhat north of my riding area. There is a very active central Florida sportbike group in Lake County and he may ride with them.
I know this is the drag racing forum, but there is merit in owning a bike that can be both drag raced and ridden on Sunday group rides. So if any of you 1320 guys want to un-slam and shorten your chain for a spirited Sunday ride on the back roads of west central Florida, let me know.

Looks like Wilma will keep me out of Bradenton this Sunday. But no worries - Gainesville was hooking pretty well tonite  New best...
I discovered some loose / bent sprocket bolts after this pass, and couldn't back it up, but I went an 8.61 earlier, which is close. 5.65!!!
