Prostar race...
Since there was NO response to my post on Harry's Prostar thread...I figured I'd start this...to make sure you people didn't...just miss it???
If no-one responds here??? It will save me a LOT of time editing/sending video-s for people to see...

YEEEup...
The Muzzy SBS 12 had a problem with 2nd gear looked like a good launch (wheel lifted a bit in 1st)...shifted into 2nd then 'false nuetral'...DAMN!!! I wanted to see the Rickey put a good number down
Since it's the first (only) problem they have had with the tranny...they didn't have parts to fix it...so he qualified the ZRX in SBS today in a STRONG head wind...
The other Muzzy ZX12 ridden by Ryan in the "new rules" Superbike class had a problem also (dammit)...smoked REAL bad on it's 3rd run...(as in 3rd run EVER)... I just happened to be at the Muzzy camp when Rob Muzzy started the bike the 2nd time it has ever been started...sounded COOL with the sidewinder pipe on it. They didn't even have a chance to do ANY mapping before Ryan rode it for the 1st time... It missed a little bit on the 1st run but sounded MUCH better on the 2nd run after Rob did some mapping with the data they got from Ryan's 1st run... I don't know if the smoking was "external or internal" yet (sounded like the motor lost a cylinder)...I'll find out tomorrow...
THE GOOD NEWS IS!!!
The ZX12 that Coby Adams and Chip Ellis built was the number one qualifier in the Superbike class at the end of the day!!! IT was ALSO run for the first time ever yeserday... Chip was very VERY happy with it's performance since he and Coby "burnt the midnight oil" for the last 3-weeks to get the bike ready for this weekend...The bike ran 8.30s @ 161mph with only 1199CCs (STOCK BORE/STROKE!!!)
I'm tired as hell tonight or I'd send BERGIE some videos for you to see...sorry to tease you but...I WILL send him some videos for you-all to see!!!
Oh ya I made some passes on KINGZX12's 2-stage NOS ZX12
I SUCKED!!! The bike is set-up too different from John's bike (too stiff/high in the rear, no MUZZY clutch kit) for me to get "comfortable in only a few runs"...no excuses though...I sucked
I hit the rev-limiter in THREE GEARS on one run yesterday trying to get used to shifting it without an air shifter AND with the NOS on (while shifting)...I didn't "notch the throttle enough" to unload the tranny for 'clean shifts' and I STILL ran a 9.30 at 156+ MPH on "that run"...
I Didn't run 8-anything yet but I managed a 9.10 at 160MPH in the STRONG head wind we had today...
I was VERY dissapointed with myself but still had fun riding the bike...
I also rode Wayne's other STOCK WHEELBASE 2-stage NOS 12 on the street yesterday and all I can say is...THAT BIKE IS SCARY PHUCKING FAST!!! SON OF A BITCH!!! 2nd-gear wheelies on the 1st stage...leaning forward...TRYING to hold it down!!! and the same thing in THIRD GEAR on the second stage WHOO-FREAKIN-HOOO!!! I'm talking it does the "skipty doodle" in 4th AND 5th gear UN-freakin real fun...
Waynes 2-stage NOS kit is NOT for the weak hearted people!!! ESPECIALLY with stock wheelbase...
WOW-ZA...I get goose bumps (again) just thinking about the ride I had on that bike yesterday...
MORE LATER!!!
PHOTO POINT SUCKS!!! I have pictures (and video) of ALL of these ZX12s...
Weather looks BAD for tomorrow wish I had a way to get on-line from the track...looks like we will have LOTS of down time tomorrow...
I AM hoping for the best though

Thanks for the update, Kevin. What class are you racing in? Would love to be there myself and see it all firsthand. Do us all proud!

Hey Intra, No Spray allowed!! I believe the cc is 1399? but im not 100% pos. and I think they all run bars and slicks.
I think it is a pretty strict class.

Max-V MIKE...
Thank's for telling us what happened to the Muzzy bike...The Muzzy crew guy (don't know his name) was kind of a DICK to me when I asked him what happened to the bike...He said "it broke"...
NO SHIT!?!?!? SMOKE EVERYWHERE!!! I have it on video!!!
HEY! No offense (my finger) to THAT guy He was probably??? in a BAD mood since they had TWO broken bikes in the Muzzy camp...I'm sure DOUG would have told me what broke but...I didn't see him before we left...
Yes MIKE, I DO have DOUG's run on video...looks like Frank dumped the video-s from his site???
I will probably send these new ones to BERGIE's site...
I'll post on Frank's site when I get them there!...
