Karl, Sounds like I need to have an Aluminum Spacer of about .020 and that would take care of the 2 gaskets. I am sending you my e-mail address. send me a few Pics because the Price is right and I could not see any reason for a "2" Stage either. I do not understand about the "Modded" Cover. so e-mail me.

Tenance, The Max I could deal with was 3 Schnits and 3 Muzzy (For any length of time) Wait until you see then and YOU will understand why they could be used for suspension!!

Thanks Mr Hill. I will then try three Brock's and three Schnitz's before trying six Schnitz's.

Vince I know from my past Drag Racing days on the Z1s that if you tryed to pull the clutch while the motor was at full song you can break some sheeeeot. But keep in mind that all you need to do is chop the throttle and the pressure created by the little weights is gone. Looking at the 12 clutch arm I would say that you would probably snap it off at the pressure plate if you pulled the clutch in at full song. Again just chop drop and roll!!!!!!!! I do crack myself up

That has to do with MPH (actual output shaft) and not RPM (engine) though with a lock up...right? At least with a single stage lock up you can pull the lever in with ease at 6K...

The lock up divice is attached to the input shaft SIR. RPM related.

I rode a Busa last week that you could pull the lock up in at 6000 rpm with no problem. Bike was running 9.30's...???

6k isnt all that much RPM....especially if you want to be able to slide the clutch out of the hole.

I certainly wouldnt want mine to lockup completely at that rpm.

VH,
The "hat" is on Buddy's turbo in Dallas but he (and Harry) are at my house in Houston.

He'll get it early next week when he goes back home. I'll send you the hat, cover spacer, modded clutch cover later next week.

The "mod" on the clutch cover is simply a carrier bearing for the outboard end of the puller shaft.

Houston? you bet! The heart of the Mosquito coast.

the complete parts list is:
lockup hat,
modded pressure plate(steel buttons have been inserted)
modded clutch cover (has puller shaft carrier bearing)
spacer (between clutch cover & block)
longer clutch cover bolts
spacer for shift shaft
billet puller (longer)

When you make sure all is working, i would be happy to receive yr un-modded clutch cover & pressure plate (core items).

I'm giving you a killer deal because I just wanna know that I am part of the 210mph pass you WILL be making at Maxton

Cool - was just curious as i have heard people talk about the welded lever syndrom at 6k and i didn't experience it.

Thanks...

Karl, for as much "Do do" as the people on Bikeland and other places had had to deal with, I think when I finally get there, the Smell of the air around the world will smell bad for a few minutes (Everyone Exhaling at the same time ) People like You, Mike, Dan and specially Jim Owen I owe a lot to. Heck I might go an entire month and not mention anything to do with being Black to show appreciation .

Thanks Karl No problem on the other parts.

Karl, You Hurt me Someone looking at my drivers License noted that my "Hair Color" was also wrong (No longer Black) SO I guess the statement that it won't rubb off was wrong the "Other" Way. If I turn white do I have to vote Republican
