Dragbike.com reports "600 SuperSport champion Ryan Schnitz popped off the big number in Thursday testing running an incredible 9.57 elapsed time at 139 mph on his Team Green 2002 Kawaswaki ZX-6R. The run beat his standing record of 9.79 by a week. Schnitiz was using the now-spec Nutech fuel in the test session. He previously ran a 9.59/140"

Yup...TRULY amazing...BUT!!!
The air was...KILLER thursday (BELLOW SEA LEVEL!!!)it will be VERY difficult to back that run up...as in...it will NOT happen at this race because the COLD AIR (AND TAIL WIND!!!) is now GONE for the rest of this race... matter of fact...it's supposed to rain saturday

I missed what was probably my LAST chance to run a 8-second pass on John's bike thursday because John is racing HIS bike himself this weekend...
I AM riding a faster ZX12 than John's this weekend though

Rickey Gadson...also ran a 9.54 on a BONE STOCK (including pipes) RED 2002 ZX12R on PUMP GAS...I know the owner, he lives in Orlando...

ZX12girl...go to the Prostar web site and down load the rule book (.pdf file) the class is 600 Super Sport (600 SS)
They are VERY strict about the engine haveing NOTHING but stock parts...and NO spray!!!
They ARE using Nutec fuel which is good for a "few" HP...

Kevin, was the red 02 12 just lowerd,no arm,no gear, nothing? There is a thread claiming Gadson's 9.6 run on a stock 02 model with a slip-on,was really a 6 over arm, akro full system and shinko tire, there are a few labusas members claiming this bike had these mods(I am hoping it didn't),you know how the drama get's over there when someone(RG in particular)runs a mid 9 on bone stock bike, and by the way,get some video of you on the FASTER 12.

I KNOW the man that owns (and was racing the bike HIMSELF at this race)...I SAW (and looked it over GOOD) THE bike...
It was TOTALY stock accept for lowering...It was so new, it had only had one oil change...
It did NOT have Nutec (CANNOT HIDE THE SMELL) in it either!!!
Rickey himself asked me if I saw/heard what he ran on this bike...Yes I did HEAR what the bike ran I said...The bikes owner talks a LOT (and can back it up) he told me (and anyone/everyone else he saw at the track) what Rickey ran on HIS bike...

It was OBVIOUS that Rickey LIKES the 2002s...
