Grudge Race part 2 who is going for sure?

Who is going to be in Memphis for sure on the 30th of Sept?

I'll be there. I'm sure Mad Mike and DWB will be there.

Who else is in??

I'm inclined to organize something for next summer as a "part 2" to the 1st grudge race.. if we can make it an annual event., in a more central location, then it will be much easier to get sponsors and entrants as well...

thoughts?

That sounds like a plan fish. I'll be in Memphis for Grudge 1.5. Sorry the IHRA conflicts, I thought this was a good weekend Mike & Osti.

OT: Ryan and Drew had a great race today, with Drew getting there .006 faster. Man o man.

I bet they didn't know who won until they got the tickets.
That's real good racing, better when you are the winner.

I'm in for memphis, got two buds also.

I'm going to try to be at Memphis!

I like the idea of a more central location for annual meets, but then again,...I'm in Ohio!

no shit the track is sweet but it's surrounded by the ghetto. We had a car event there a couple times, 3 day event road racing, drag racing and autox, we rented out the entire facility. Two years in a row we had more than 2 cars stolen, and one year an entire truck, trailer and car! swiped! We ended up having to HIRE SECURITY 24 hours to patrol the place!!

I'm not sure i want to install the 1272 piston kit because of these DAMMMN
fuel prices. Unless you can run it on 87 octane. Anyone know for sure?

I would say no. Depending on the kit, your CR might be over 13:1. What's another 15-20 cents per gallon? You didn't buy the 12 to be economical right?

Looks like it will cost my about $350 in gas to haul my bike up to Memphis. We'll have to get as many folks together as possible from around here and split it.

Didn't buy it for economics but with 60-100 miles a day. I am going to need to save some money somewhere. 4-6 gal/day X $3.29. ~$100 a week in gas is getting old fast.
I'll be at the track stock or not.

Dean,
we oughta do a lil coordination as time gets closer, eh? Apparently we gotta circle the wagons at that track.

my motor is back running; doing basic tweaks, set up, and checks.

Too bad my compression gauge only goes up to 300psi ...

Holy torque batman! 300+??? Good luck with the break-in. I'm waiting on a swiveling pickup for my oil tank.

I'm off to La Habana for a week -I'm happy to help coordinate the travel / security issues. I'll sentry with a shotgun if needed
