carpenter motor part2

Back to my original question does anyone have a new carpenter built motor with some dyno graphs?

I have the older 1290 package and with alot of dyno time it made 195 hp on a dynojet250 and 202 on a mjp dyno. I'm trying to decide if its worth going in and getting the head redone, bigger cams, or perhaps the sroker.

I'm very pleased with bobs work so far and maybe i'll try his 1400cc package but was looking for a little feedback first.

Been curious about this myself.

I have a 1287 w/Carpenter head and stock cams. Interested to hear some real user experience with the new package.

bob is constantly developing new cyl head technology, Norman knows some "secrets" too. If you want more power, its wise to spend more money. If I were you, I would sell the ported head you have and start with a fresh one, to recoop some of your money.

That's a good suggestion AnotherRedHead. I was wondering if my 02 head would work on my wifes 00 zx12?

The 02-04 heads have a better port flow than 00-01. The 02 head will fit and an 00-01 but you need to use the 00-01 cams.

Yes but the 02 has both type mounting holes. He can look at the head and see.
