Great job, and good on ya for waiting for the 5 sec 1/8th before spraying. Maybe you can squeeze in at SMTW for at least a couple WOT 'safety' pulls?

Karl, it's right around 64in. Gonna be a tad shorter for the grudge race, because I'm gonna run my Marchesini w/Supercorsa (46t) vs a stock rim and Shinko I've been running. 17/48 with the stocker, and I only have a 46t for the Marchesini, so I'll have to take one link outta the chain so it'll fit. It hits the limiter right past the first cone in the traps (hence the relatively low trap speed). Funny about the light, in the past month or so, we've really been hittin the tree hard, and over the past two weeks I've gotten TWO perfect .000 lights
Dean, I may just do that to get some kinda idea what the A/F is doing. I'm gonna try to steal the FJO wideband from Tracy for a few hours (shhhhh)

Not gonna be any kinda nitrous nothin' if I can't get a laptop to map it. As it is I'll be mapping in the blind without a wideband or dyno. I also really want to get some CR10EKs to be safe, but finding something as simple as a NOS nozzle in this town has proven to be a waste of time, so who knows if I can find those plugs. I doubt I'll even attempt the put the EFIR on it before Thursday. I may just shitcan the project until we get back and shoot for Gainesville.
If it were a stock motor it'd be easy, but I'm limited on time and I'm leary of "guessing" on this motor.
Anyone got any suggestions as far as timing and fuel is concerned ?

heh...+45 in every cell above whatever RPM you decide to spray in was what I did.
rich is way better than lean
I had to order my 10EKs from ronayers...but its possible autozone can get you some in a day if you call (probably kept in warehouse but not on shelf).
I have the PC3 software on my laptop....Ill be bringing it with me on the trip as well and we can modify your custom map at the track if you like.
Whats wrong with the nozzle that came with the kit I sold ya? If that wont work...tracy has a shitload of nozzles in his cabinet if im not mistaken.

oh and at worst case...you can clean/reuse the 10EKs that came outta my bike if tracy still has them. He put some different ones in the bike for the Trubo.

You won't need 10s to run a soft shot like that MS, don't lt that stop you. You only need colder plugs when you REALLY start spraying. Which will be in about a month I'm guessing

The nozzle is stripped beyond repair. So no way I could drill and tap a hole for it in the frame. Right now I've got it in one of the ram air tubes, should hold. I'll call Tracy and see what he's got though (and see if he's still got the plugs). I've got to go out there anyway and get the macaroni rim so I can put the supercorsa on it.
I've got plenty of fuel available with the Muzzy pump, it's the timing I'm concerned about.

I just upped the PC3 a few bars when I sprayed my 1361 with a 40 shot.
On another note, a friend of mine has been spraying around a 80 shot(dry). It's enough to make his 1270 go 165 or better! Currently his motor is scattered in my shop waiting on new bearings. Mainly the #3 rod bearing. His pistons look fine.
Nice riding, BTW.

Sure. With a small shot, if you run good gas you won't even need to pull timing. Prepare to be hooked.

I take it the 93 octane pump gas I've been using doesn't qualify as "good" gas, lol.
