extended swingarm
Has anyone used Thompson Custom cycle to get there swingarm done? I am waiting on my arm, and have been having problems getting it back... Thye say its finished, and supposed to have been shipped last tuesday but i get nothing....Then i found out im not getting my arm back, im getting back someone elses core...No big deal.. except, when i shipped it, i put the pivot arm bolt and hardware back on and ran some mechanic wire through it to secure it....not smart. Now they say they dont have my hardware.............
I am in bad need for a pivot bolt and hardware....Anyone have anything they could help me with by the weekend?

that sucks dude. I made a similar mistake in leaving my rear disc on the rim when I got it polished. didn't realize it until a few days *after* I brought it home. Of course they don't think they have it.

My wife and i have been talking about expanding our shop and getting into some more motorcycle fabricating....I own a snowmobile performance shop, and focus mostly on products for drag sleds, but we have been seriuosly talking about adding on.......I have not had as many problems in my entire life with one project as i have with this motorcycle. And im not even really into bikes that much....
Everything i purchase, or person i speek to from another shop has been a very unpleasant experiance. Im not certain how people stay in business.
I have been working on this bike for the last 3 years.. I have yet to finish it...It hasnt even been on the road in that long. I havent had the time to even touch it because of all the racing we do with the sleds. We travel all over the country in the fall seasons, all through canada in the winter months for ice racing and i spend a great deal of time on the asphalt in the spring and summer months leaving me little time for another hobby......
My poor 12 is very neglected......Then every time i try to get working on it, This happens....I wont tell you how long this company had the arm...we will just say it was more then 8 months.......................................
