Doug, After reading this post, I told BISHOP (Mr. Henderson) why I thought you had gotten behind in your schedule and had not finished his bike near the estimated time. A word from you really helps things  People "Can" Understand when they know, but everyone is impatient when it comes time to ride! Make the call or send the return e-mail. OK?

I have spoken with him once already
I dont have alot of time to spend on the phone answering the same question over and over at this time of the year...i am working on his bike at this time..... i will contact him when it is close to being finished...which looks like next week. i know we are behind...but so is everyone...... we are waiting on the billet clutch basket.... everything elas is here and the swingarm is off ect ect...being finished up. next week we should have him ready. BUT calling over and over...will not get the work done any faster...it only will slow me up....
NOW BACK TO WORK>>> i am off my luch break

Amen brother, truer words are rarely spoken. Some customers have no concept as to the value of your time, and the obvious fact that the more of your time they take on the phone the less time you have remaining to do their job. I do my best to weed these out before I ever take a job, but somehow a few always slip through the screening process.

DOug, you notice I did not call! Once I figured out "What" the Hold up was , then I also understood! Not a case of "Another" customers Bike, but the Owners Bike which take more time than you will ever have  . I also know him well enough to know that for him, Checking on the bike every other day is patience for him. I only hope that he is not like a few people I did work for! (Pushed and Pushed and when Finished I could not find them for several more weeks because they then did not have the money! I know this person does, but it could burn a hole in his pocket !

The bike in the pics...IS NOT the hold up...I DO NOT put racing before the business! PERIOD!
We are just that busy........ I work on that bike after hours not during hours......

WOW Doug! Being good and charging a reasonable price for what you do "may" be the death of you. When I got older and started to need sleep at night and finally stopped racing at the age of 43, I slept for close to 1 year on every weekend and I am still tired. That is the problem of everyone only having 24 hours in 1 day. Thanks for your time, If I have the influence I think I have, you may not hear from him until you call him! "Deal"?
Tony, actually it is my "M", N"N "H", "S" & "O" keys that have no writting on them. I never had this problem when I had "White" Keys with the Stronger "Black" Writing on them
Not to mention who my #1 Hero is
You think anyone is asking him about the paint scheme in his bike??

NOT THE DEATH...I AM GOING UP ON PRICES AFTER THESE BIKES ARE OUT....
I am going to get back into the sales part and not so much into the service until fall arrives

If you want something done, give to to a busy person! Doug, we ALL Have been there and done that, but just not as long as you have. Slow down and send everyone an e-mail and tell then 1 week longer than planned and then if it is earlier, they all will be happy!
