2 different chains
When needing to add more links to a chain,has anybody ever mixed different brand chains to make it longer?I don't know,but it seems to me as long as the master links fit it shouldn't matter.Will master links fit different chains or are they brand make only?

Did you miss my offer on the other thread? I can sell you enough links for your STOCK chain to make it work for cheap.

TurboBlew,yeah I saw your offer which is why I started this one. I'm using a D.I.D. chain now.I guess I got my answer,I understand the mechanics of the chain,not necesarily the dynamics.I still don't know how to add links with only 1 master link.If I want to play around with different swingarm lengths,I'm certainly not going to get a separate chain for each incremant.

I know guys that use 2 master links for different wheel base, but put silicone on the link so you dont lose the clip...Same chain though!!!

crotchrocket,he said you were a great racer and worthy opponent.I got the bike Wed. and the dyn o said 183na/218 with dry shot.That put Freddie Klies right on the money because all I did was put the PCIII 2 bars down on all the settings.I didn't see Shane when I picked the bike up,so I still have some questions.

I'm a putz. Didn't realize the stock chain was a DID530VM.I have my old chain that is still good,so I'll pull a couple links from the original.Still would like to know who has the best prices.
