Cam Degree?

I need some input from some of you veterans to the ZX12R. I have a 2001 zx12, 1290, 15.1 compression with a ported head, and stock cams. What would be the best numbers to degree the cams. BTW I weigh in at 227 in street clothes.

How do you start that beast and what kind of fuel do you use? I suggest 105/105 and make adjustments from there.

Start by replacing those stock cams with a good cam package including springs, retainers and locks. Then degree those mugs! If you're going thru the trouble, may as well do it right!

1)What are you suggesting is a "Good" cam package?
2) Please explain WHY you feel the suggested package is good?

I ask this because less that 5@ of duration change is available for the Intake and what max .045 of lift more and about the same for the EX. Alot of money, but do you feel "Alot of gain"?

Where are you suggesting to get your package? Mega Cycle or Web. The major builder names use one or the other basicially.

i'm using Muzzy cams, KIBBLEWHITE SS VALVES, SPRINGS, (FUKKEN CAPSLOK) locks and retainers. Why this assortment? My Web cams got worn. A good package? who knows... Its just what i ended up with

Cams set at 107/110, did a bunch of testing, the motor liked bigger ex numbers and smaller int numbers.
