Need help with front wheel.
Trying to get the meanstreak reddy for the season points opener,and desided to change the front slick,reinstalled the wheel on bike using the shop manual, bouncing and measuring axle gap,wheel turns freely until i bolt on the calipers and then they drag so bad that the wheel won't spin half of a rotation, help, please.

Check and see if your rotor's are warped. that is what it sounds like

unlosen everything take axle out and reinstall it tighten without bouncing the wheel...Tighten the axle side of the pinch bolts first...

kawpower,
i had this problem and 100% solved it; do a search on my old threads. The solution I used may not be perfect for a street bike (removed dust seals) but it did solve it.
