zx-10 wet NOS

Has anyone done a wet system on the new zx-10? I would like to go with a wet system, but I have taken off the air box and there is no room for the nozzles on the out side of the intact ports. Would I be able to set it up where I fogged it in above the velocity stacks, put most of the stuff in the air box, and still go wet. I not worried about hiding it as my bottle is in front of my rear tire. I just didn't know if I could do it above the stacks and fed both the nos and fuel. Also if I do it that way will I have to wide open in engage it? The fab work would be no problem.

Can ya tell me why u want a wet kit. Its so easy to put a dry on and just as affective. Cost way less too. From where i see it the only real reason for a wet system is for a built motor or too spray more than the stock fuel system can handle. Dry kit. 400.00 or cheaper. Wet around 600.00 same power. Ya cant put but so much to them. Due to cylinder pressure. Atleast thats what i have been taught. Dry 50 or 60 your looking at well over 200hp. Thats a lot for a zx10. What was your best all motor time.

I did not want to lose my great drivability by having to richen up the map. I wish there was an EMS box from yosh so I could make two separate maps. How much could I run with a dry system and have no problems? I just had a friend with a wet system and could get it cheap. I like the dry system install a lot better myself. As far as my times I really didn't want the NOS for that it's more, for fun with my friends. And I see what happens at E-town this summer. I just did an 8" over swing arm and I'll be doing an air shifter.

Well with mine i just richen the power commander up. Doesnt really take long, As far as drivability ya only have manualy richen up the power commander when ya gonna spray it. Also they make a fast fi richen box im sure someone here could help with that. From what i now ya just hook your nos up with it .. Instant richen when ur spraying back to normal when ya let out. Thats what ya need right there.Try schnitz or mps i think one of them make it.

Fuel Injection Mixture Control - MPS

Fuel Injection Mixture Control - MPS
The MPS Fast FI Mixture Control is a simple means to adjust the fuel curves on your fuel-injected motorcycle. This allows for tuning after the installation of aftermarket exhausts, intake modifications, or internal motor modifications. It can only richen the fuel mixture. It cannot lean the mixture. The Fast FI Mixture Control has a low speed pot that adds fuel at low speed much like a mixture screw on a carburetor. The accelerator pump pot is an extra enrichment when the unit senses rapid rpm acceleration. This acts like the traditional accelerator pump on a carburetor. The high-speed pot controls the high RPM like the main jet of a carburetor. The high-speed RPM set pot determines what RPM the low speed pot is no longer controlling the mixture and the high-speed pot takes over. The Fast FI Mixture Control has an instant rich feature to work with Dry Nitrous Systems. It locks the fuel injection system in a full rich mode instantly via a signal from the Dry Nitrous System. This means no more reprogramming for NOS operation. The Fast FI Mixture Control looks at the fuel injection map the same way the factory does and adjusts it the same way the factory does. Because our product is not compatible with other aftermarket products we recommend removing any other type of non-factory adjustments, downloads, etc. before installing the Fast FI Mixture Control.

go to schnitzracing.com then products then scroll down to about half page there u wil find fuel injection mixture controll mps. that would be the shit for a street bike.

I wanted to use both the pc3r for my mixture control, and use the mps box to richen up the fuel when I run the nos. I dont think that the pc3r can do that by it self. Can it?

Well yes and no. You can richen up the power commander manualy. But it doesnt have an instant rich feature. Have u had a custom map made. If so all u have to do is richen to mid and high all the way. When your not spraying just set them back to both bars showing in the middle. That is they way i have too.

Ya I have a map my boss Ivan at Rockland motorcycle made it and we did some other mods ,TRE and some one offs. I just didn't want to have to change my map. I wanted the best of both worlds. That why I thought that I maybe able to hook up both and use mps for the NOS and leave my pcr3 for my other settings.

Well they say u can spray small amounts like 30 or so. And the stock suzuki ecm wlll add enough fuel if ya hit the air intake sensor. Im not sure about the zx. Seems like the wet system is the way to go in your situation. Flip a switch and let her fly. I really cant help ya there.

You only need to richen the 100% throttle column from 6k or so up. That won't affect drivability at all.

I think ryan schnitz tested one that he only rasied like three bars. It lost 6hp on motor alone. So your not talking about much until pride is on the line. right

Its all about the pride. How much do I have richen it? Is it more fuel when I up the amount of spray (hp)? And what is safe.. some say 20,30,40 and even 50. I would like to see a real 210 hp in good weather. Do I use an RPM act. box? and what about the timing?

I guess you have access to a dyno. Go there first. put a size 40 jet in front of the filter. That will make it hit a lil bit softer. That size pill should yeld 50. Use good gas 93 or higher maybe mix a lil bit of racing gas. Not too much because u will loose power on all motor. On the dyno Start off with the pc3r set to wide open for mid and high. If it has af reader tune it to around 13.1. Thats what i have heard. The one i used didnt have that so i leaned it out till max power then richened it up a lil bit. As far as timing the pc3r really isnt that affective from what i have heard. I was told anything over 50 ya need to do a lil work. But do make sure whomever mapped it befor didnt advance it any. That would not be good. As far as 220 my 1000 with a 40 pill made. 218.7. 105ft. Thats a stock motor with a few mods. Also get some good oilllll.. Its a must. Change it way ofter. Im a firm believer. Ya can go with a lil colder plug no platnium. AS far as wiring. I just uses mine on the starter button. I have a three position switch. Not sure how the wiring is on a zx.

Thanks.. I'll post when I'm done. I had spoke with Ivan today and he thinks that we came use a fuel richen box that go's to the injector and run it off the NOS. So when you hit the button it will richen and still use the PC3R. Were going to do some R.N.D on this it will all be done for spring. One way or another. The 40poll is for me. I would like to use my horn button for my air shifter so maybe the RPM box is for me.

Well that wouild work the only thing i can see bad about that is if it wheelies. WIth my set up ya can always just let off the nos and stay on the gas. Rpm switch if ya feather tha throttle your gonna have a lean condition. Cause the rpm switch is still gonna see you have the revs up. Unless ya use a micro switch to tell when the bike is wide open. Plus the starter is real easy to wire.
