First time at the track with a bike!
Well, I did it tonight. First time down a track with a bike (2000 ZX12R with a full Yoshi system and a PC3). Me, Matt Sterbator, KriSSten, TurboBlew, Saki Girl and Al_Coholic_R1 went to the local 1/8 mile track here in Jacksonville. It was so much different from my days drag racing cars! I managed to get a best of 8.7@95mph. Not a world beater, but I improved my first run time by over a second and 20 something mph. I got a lot to learn, but I have finally gotten on the track and got my feet wet. I learned how to do a good burnout, at the least. Now I have to practice launching and shifting. I had a load of fun and think with some more practice I will get good at it. Can't wait until June when we go to MIR for the Grudge Race.

Only one way to get better , and that is to START! you've done it now got get another couple visa cards; you'll need 'em.

I remember my first day at a track. First run, I almost went over backwards. 2nd run was good. 3rd run the ass end slid sideways out of the hole.

Dayum had to check myself before I wreck myself there for a minute, I read your "8.7's first time out" then I realized you were running the 1/8th mile. LOL
