Shift Point on 1270

I have Just installed the "Raptor" shift light (VERY Nice!! btw).

On the current version of my 1270 engine, peak power arrives at an EARLY 10,000 rpm. It drops 4 hp by 11,000 rpm.

I set the shift light at 11,000 rpm.

I would like to get feedback on recommended shift points other than this.

BTW..Torque hits 100 as early as 4650 rpm and peaks at 111!

THANKS!

Thanks Johnny. Looks like I will schedule a Dyno pull session.

In the Engine?? It's as "Stupid Stock" as it gets!

Muzzy 1270 kit, Stock cams degreed at 105.5 in. / 100 ex. , Intake ports "cleaned up" and matched, NO base gasket , and a REAL NICE MAP!

It pisses off the Eye-Abusea Guys....They bitch that I have aftermarket pistons! I just say that the engine is still smaller than "1300"
