How the 2004 Contingency Program Works...
Buy a Kawasaki. Purchase a new or used 2003 or newer U.S. model Kawasaki from a U.S. dealer or a private party.
Register for the program. If you buy your bike new from an authorized Kawasaki dealer, a contingency program brochure will be sent to you by mail. If you were registered in 2003, you must register again in 2004 in order to be eligible. If you acquire another bike after you are registered, please e-mail or call Kawasaki to add the new VIN to your contingency registration. A new registration form must be submitted every fiscal year (Jan-Dec) to be eligible for contingency.
Race in a Contingency paying event. The paying series and classes are listed in Kawasaki's Contingency Program Booklet. A schedule of paying race dates is compiled in late winter and sent to all riders registered for the Contingency program, all Kawasaki dealers, and all participating race promoters. Schedules are updated periodically and posted here.
Receive payment in the mail. Payments are usually mailed within 45 days of the race to the address on your Contingency Registration form. If you have not received payment within 45 days, please contact Kawasaki (e-mail preferred). There may be a delay in payment due to problems with your registration or results.
