You need a "LIL SOMTHIN, SOMTHIN"... Like a a LIL old shot of gas to get you in the nines Bottom line, your weight and the 1000 are at a disavantage. I say bottle feed the bike

Just keep going to the Strip, the more you go the better you get!!!...Doesnt matter how much you weigh without skillz!!!...Then imagine how fast you will go with a lil push of the horn button...

hey guys here is the report on the gear change. From 16 to a 15 on the front. I had a best of 1.651 for a 60 which got me a 6.641 at 108 mph what ya think am i getting close also i went threw the finish at the top of 4 yall think i have enough gear with this set up to run a 1/4 running out of gear here dont know how many i will change after that. Gas i can agree with something i think ill look into this winter as for now i just wanna extract all i can get. So when i get some gas i know what it done. thanks

just a few thoughts here.....
as I recall, I thought you upgraded from a 750 to get this 1000 right?
Definitely a step in the right direction, and it sounds like you hit the track frequently so I'd bet your skills are getting better too.
I ride a 12R, and admittedly, I only weigh 150.
I have noticed that even when I make runs where I DON'T slip the clutch, and I get to wide open throttle asap, the bike will "sound" like it bogs. This may be around 3000rpm or so.
Some of my best 60' times come from that bog. Unfortunately, for me, they don't translate to the best ET's because I end up getting a big 1st gear power wheelie at around 9000-10000rpm.
For me, massive slipping off the line is a bit less consistent, but, my ET's are generally better.
Just a point to ensure you are watching all of your track times even when you feel like it bogged off the line.
Aside from that, since you ARE a big guy, have you ever thought of a bike with more torque? Even a ZX11, or a Busa, or a ZXR1200! Just a thought...
Keep up the good work man!
PS. If you are 'near' the top of 4th in the 1/8th mile, it sounds like you'd be real close on being at the limit of 6th in a full 1/4. I don't know the math to figure it out though.
