Sweden calling Doug Meyer!
Hi Doug! Can you please confirm that exhaust valvespring is red, intake valvespring is blue on a ZX-12R 2001?!
My question is because someone have messed up things in my garage!?

I'm not Doug (obviously) but...there is NO REASON that Kaw would "reverse the color of the springs" from one model year...to another...
BLUE IS INTAKE...
RED IS EXHAUST...
I have an assembled head (never been apart) in front of me RIGHT NOW...AND...THE
SERVICE MANUAL DOESN'T LIE...
GET A SERVICE MANUAL!!! You have already expended more energy worrying about this ONE THING??? than you would...getting the money for a manual!?!?!? 
Trust the people that have responded to your other thread(s) and...
"Get your head together"...OK???

Mine says EX white, IN purple........

My manual is the -01...not -03...
And I have to say (cleaning egg off of my face AGAIN)  ...
My manual ALSO says they are white and purple?!?!?!
But once again...(I just LOOKED AGAIN) the ZX12 head on my bench has BLUE INTAKE and RED EXHAUST springs...

I apologize for passing on bogus info. I'm a big believer in checking the book, but in this case it appears to be wrong. After looking at the actual springs, they are:
IN=Blue
EX=Red
