how much wet nos 1290
how much nos can you spray wet before you have to retard your timing on a 1290 motor

I only spray a dry shot of 40hp on a 1270 so I am not sure.

It would depend on fuel, compression ratio, A/F, pill spread, etc. Short answer is 40hp.

I did talk to Ryan Schnitz and he stated that you can get away with a 50 hp shot (we were talking about dry NOS). This would be the max in a dry shot with out major risk taking.
Now, even with this said........I have not tried more than a 40hp and not sure if I want to take the risk of internal damage.
BTW - Timing is set to zero on my bike spraying 40hp.

you can put as much wet nitrous as you internal strength of the motor can handle. (rods, pistons, crankshafts,pistons, and your compression ratio.)as long as your fuel ratio is right.
