will a smaller sproket help my 60

hey guys im running a 17 47 set up would a 16 help the motor out our the hole. Do i need to sub three from the rear. Just wondering i just bought a slew of sprokets off ebay at a deal I weight about 300 in leathers so i need all the help down low i can get plus i run 1/8th mile. My current set up yelds 1.67 60 and i go across the finish lights in the top of third

What bike are you talking about and whats the wheelbase?

I think you just need to practice more. The other guys may disagree with me, but I think that the smaller front sprocket would help if you were running wheelie bars and a slick, but with the standard setup, I think you're just not letting the clutch out fast enough. And/or you are not getting to full throttle fast enough.

set up is a gsxr 1000 with a adams 3 by 9 arm set around 8 in thanks

lay on that fu-king tank and as soon as the bike is moving roll the throttle wide fu-king open and let the clutch go. i mean let it go. if the bike is moving you don't need to slide it anymore. the trick is finding the right rpm to leave at so you can do this without killing the motor or flipping the thing.
