I guess I'm not banned from the site anymore.
All kidding aside, I honestly hope it is a very minor glitch or something like aa system transfer and the site with all it's forums returns soon. Real soon. There is plenty of room in the www for his and all the other sites.

The server host lost a disk that wasn't RAID striped or mirrored.
I.e: When the disk failed, that was it. Over. Done with.
The entire disk has to be recovered from backup.

Although there hasnt been any contact from any of the admins or easyrider, we can only assume that what motorcycleboy is saying is correct.
I am sure that the site will be back up and running as soon as they sort out whatever problems they have.
All in all, easyrider has actually provided a very stable platform for his users and has had only the rarest of outages.
If anyone has any further info please post it, but as I stated I am sure they are working on a solution and will be up and running shortly.
