RC Components wheels + Drag Racing????

I just got some RC Daytona wheels and I know I read somewhere about adding a bearing or something in the cush drive!!!I can't seem to find the post so could someone refresh my memory???

My cush drive has a bearing, then a spacer and then another bearing in the wheel!!!

Thanks,Vincent

depending on your HP you might not have any problems.
I run two Bearings in my cush drive now. and two in the rim. so I have 4 on my back wheel. I believe TB had the same problem.

So the new bearing takes the place of the small spacer between the cush and the wheel??

In the cush drive itself.

Simple. Just cut the inside sleeve down to fit snug.
Here is an exaggerated view of what supposedly happens with only 1 bearing on outer part of the cush

So I need to cut the spacer to fit between original "outside" bearing and New "inside" bearing,,,on the cush drive??

I just want to make sure I get this right,,,,don't want to mess up $875 wheels!!!

Yeah. Make sure you sink the inside bearing in a 1/16" or so.
And also keep a close eye on the cush rubbers.

I did this mod on my RC's thanks to Turboblew. It has seen a ton of dragstrip runs with nary a problem....and the wheel spins GREAT!
