2nd Win of the year, this time on my 12!!!

Well went to the local track this weekend after working my ass off all week long trying to get everything together and I finished it all on Saturday at 3:45pm and the race started at 5, I was an hour away.... Well get to the track right at 5. lucky there was a big oil down on the last set of time trials. they were going to start early because they were scared of rain.
So I get the old girl unloaded and head up for my first pass with a shorter wheelbase and more HP... LOL... yea that is why they call me Mad...
I go up for my first time trial.. get a 1.61- 60'and No shift??? foot shift and go to hit the button again and no shift again??? (No idea) end up with a 6.39 @ 116mph.
first round of eliminations and No idea what to dial so I throw a 6.30 on, long story short No shift again???? ran a 6.40@110.
I buy back in to the second round I dial a 6.25 and catch the guy quick and let off running a 6.33@115, foot shifting.
Third round comes and I leave the 6.25 on there and line up and my opponent Red Lights.... So I let her eat, 1.55 short time and instinctivly hit the button when my light comes on and wala it shifts!!! then it shifts again.. bike running great!!!! 6.08@119mph. I will take it! a bunch of guys were saying I was sandbagging and I said : not bad for the 4th pass ever on this set up. oh it was also about 85% humidity and hot!!
round 4 comes and I have to race the drag bike that got me first round... not this time buddy!! I knew the light was good! it was one of those oh my god that red and Blink! Green Light!!! had an .030 light on him and everything worked great and there was no way I was going to even come close to catch him!!! So I let off about 20' before the traps... and yea he broke out by .257!!!! can you say sand bag!!!!I ran a 6.18@110, letting off at the end!!
Round 5 the final.. racing a guy with a stretched R1...He was dialed a 6.44 and I a 6.12. he cut an .070 light to my .090 light My 60' was a 1.53, had a 4.03 330', and caught him right before the traps and ran a 6.126@112mph... for the WIN!!! it was way cool!! 300 bucks this week! next week should be fun!!!

Congrats Mike, but now you know why I don't rely on an airshifter! Guess I shouldn't be saying "I told you so" but I am CONGRATS on the win!
Take that airshifter off you dont need it!

no I ran that the same day, 6.20's foot shifting and 6.0's with the air. I am sure that I could get down to the 0's or quicker, but I am more consistant with the button... LOL.. Dont be Scared, of the button...

mike if you believe you picked up .20 by using an airshifter either you need serious practice footshifting or there is something amazingly special about your air shifter
