Holy smokes...159 on motor is amazing Karl, that's close to the numbers the Adams/Ellis ZX12 ran in Formula Superbike last year. Nice job on the motor JCheese.

Not to mention excellent riding Karl!! To be in the 8.70s without breaking 160 makes me think you're not missing anything on the launch. Keep up the good work.

Thx guys (especially JohnnyCheese!)

My best pass was on a "soft" launch; didn't nail it outa the hole. I've done 1.45's in the past, so maybe there is even more in my ever-suffering beast???

60'______1.496
330'_____3.811
1/8______5.719
1/8 mph__128.58
1000'____7.379
1/4______8.790
1/4 mph__159.10

There was a favorable tail wind, but other folks I talked to said they were not running unusually hi mph (wind balanced by 88F and hi humidity; HP factor was only 97.7% ).

Seems to me that Cheeseman put it together right, and mapped it right for the track (it was rich for the dyno)

Ninja12:
compression is up from 14.2:1 to 14.5:1 compared to the previous config; we took out one of the base gaskets to give .041" quench height. Little by little pieces of the puzzle are coming together.

How long the new MTC's will last is the question... But if these tweaked MTC's don't cut the mustard, I have a brand new set of custom JE's on my shelf (thx to J Noonan for good turnaround).

A nice shot o' juice is in the cards, but not until I learn to ride it on motor.

Dean,
how is the turbo going together????? In order to keep up with me you gotta cut an even bigger red light than I do; I always jump too fast.

Mike,
is was GREAT being back at the track, ran my best pass right off the trailer after a 2 mo "vacation" from racing. I guess I should practice less, eh?

01zx12r,
yr 1320 outa be plenty o' fun! Go turbo if you want more!!!!!
