gsxr 1000

thanks for all your help with my 750 but by request due to my weight i have since dropped tha lil motor out and added a 01 gsxr 1000 bike dyno at 155.3 is this good or even comp any ideas what this thing should run in 8th mile thanks guys and gals

I think stone stock 01 made around 143 so it sounds like yours runs quite well. 6.50s? around 112-115? Aw heck, just go run it and be done with it!

It all depends on whos riding and their skill level...maybe 117 in the 8th on a 60" with weight on the front...

a friend of mine gets his best results, on a stock arm, by doing the very high rpm launch. ie. same as my best results on the 12R. 5000-6000 is a starting point.

I'm not sure if that's the best idea with your setup........I can tell ya that a good reference point is in your torque curve. If you get the clutch all the way out too far below the curve, it'll hurt the ET.

he is definitely slipping the clutch out. (for the first 2 years)

his gearing was -1T/-1T (not much change from stock actually)
He would normally run in the 9.5 range, but I've seen a few 9.4's and one great 9.39 run.

he only weighs about 155. being heavier, you're going to want more gear.
