1270 vs 1361 dyno sheet and gearing?

Can anyone post a dyno sheet on a 1270 vs 1361? Also , what are the stock cams from the factory supposed to be degreed at? What should the stock cam be degreed at with either one of these kits? What gearing combo should be used with either kits? Just curious.

kzz1,
I posted my 1361 dyno results a while ago, and SWFT did also. Additionally, SWFT has posted his 1270.

Like you, I'd be interested in seeing a 1270 vs 1361 on the same chart. Maybe SWFT could do this for us?

My cams are set on 105/100; i don't know what the setting was stock. I'm not the class of wrench you are and I had someone else build my motor.

I have tried a variety of gearing for top end and drags and am now using 17/51. This makes for a 5 gear 1/4 and suits my TFA race weight well, especially getting outa the hole.

Are you getting ready to poke your mechanics gloves into Angi's motor????? If so, don't go 1/2 way, do the 1361! I wanna see her post 8 sec times!!!

Entropy, would that be 105 intake and 100 exhaust? I have a motorcycle degree wheel and its been a while ( 1995) since I degreed in motorcycle cams on a GS1150E. If thats true, the 100 number seems low for the exhaust? Please explain. Thanks! Oh BTW.....................Can't a guy be curious! I know, she's been bugging me about it If I do anything, my Busa would be first and if she's a good little girl I might do a kit on her 12?!

KZZ1, I just degreed my cams on my 12. 105 IN 101 EX was the numbers I used. Seems to run better. That was almost 2 degree change from stock. The hardest part on the 12 was setting up the equipment. If you have the engine out it would be easier. Feel free to call if you need any help.

That will never happen....If I was a "GLG", I would not have a ZX12R or be drag Racing!!!! As far as the Busa being first....LOL...Hahahahahahahaha. Oh! You are too funny!!! ....Keep dreaming Buddy!!!!

My definition of "Might" -
You "Might" be in the Doghouse!
You "Might" want to put a bed in the garage!
You "Might" wanna re-think your initial thought's!

Just an FYI - they have alot of information already. Some in the "Any Turbo guy's... thread" and "1270=..=1361 Thread"

I have done alot of question asking from the people out in the field of dragracing, Most of them are degreeing the cams at 105/105 for best all around application. Muzzys isn't, they suggest 105/100. This 105/100 is more suited for road racing application(correct me if I am worng) I will be doing mine this weekend. I really want to leave it stock/break in 1270/dyno/then degree them; just to learn the gain in doing the cams. I will let you know. The bike goes back together this weekend. I talked with muzzys today and they are saying 10% gain with the the mapping/degreeing/1270.

The cams in my 1361 are set at 107/105. The hp kept climbing until it hit the limiter. Appeared as if it were about to flatten out. Haven't been sent my dyno runs yet. I think the dyno shop is avoiding me...

1270 Kit

Kzz1 is putting the finishing touches on the Busa and then he will be tearing into my motor in the next couple weeks.
