Update: the Mr Turbo header would not clearance the radiator, and there is no way to make space. So it looks like I will either get a header from Muzzys (thanks Doug) or have one fabbed locally (thanks Tracy), which is the way I'm leaning.

To console myself, I found a gently used HKS 40mm wastegate for cheap. I love eBay

I was kinda wondering bout that Mr. Turdo header being real long and probably needing a sump pump to get the oil back in the engine. Hopefully your new one will be nice and short and can let it gravity drain.

You know what, I've got this zx7 radiator that's curved and if you put in on backwards it'll give you more room for that header!

LOL You still have that radiator??? I still use your front stand, I hope you find a use for the rad someday.

The header did place the turbo low, but I was gonna have the flange raised as much as possible, another reason to start fresh. It's a nice piece really, good bends and collector, nice billet external wastegate, just will take a bit too much work for me. Hopefully some power hungry ZX11 owner will buy it off me, 'cuz the fella I bought it from is not interested in taking it back, even with a 20% restocking fee.

I'd be happy to send it to you to see if you could make it work - if you like it I'll unload it cheap.

Still haven't tried your X1 cams yet BTW, but I'm planning on it. This all-motor stuff takes getting used to. Takes a LONG time to get down there.

Sounds good Dean!

If I can do this with a T25 and a stock 1052cc motor, you should be able to get a bit more!!

Thanks folks, it hasn't even started yet. I tried last night and flooded the hell out of it trying to set the fuel pressure.

Karl I'm shooting for ~275 for the track, but we shall see, right now I just want to get it running

Shooting for next Wed TNT, but without boost control I'm not expecting wicked ET. there will be a lot of re-learning I'm sure.

OK, here's last night's results, with a 9psi spring, creeping to 12-14psi at redline. A/F from 7K on is ~12.5. The creep makes the curve look more like a NA motor, I kinda like it. I have a 14psi spring coming, but for now, I'm pretty happy. I need an air filter before I can go to the track, hopefully this weekend.

Thanks Kevin and Stock Mild to Wild in Jax.
