Looky what I just bought...
Jumping on the boost bandwagon  It'll be a while until I get it all together, but this is my future... It's a Garrett T3, .60 A/R compressor, "Super 60" trim, .48 A/R turbine. I found a used Mr. Turbo header & wastegate, and when I get a up-pipe and plenum fabbed, I'll be ready to test. WooHoo!!!

Cool, dude. Can't wait to hear how it runs. I've got that itch myself but just can't afford to scratch it yet. Yeah, I noticed the pipe and whatnot in the classifieds the other day. I just thought you were hooked on the gas!

I already have a buyer for my NX kit, otherwise I'd be pushing it on you Ken... I'd like to get 275hp from the the turbo, without having to refill the bottle.
But for the time being, it's all motor for me - anyone going to the SEMDRA race in Jackson, SC this weekend?

275???? with 60 trim, you should be able to push 300 @ less than 15 psi....easy. Get ready for some power....

Nice job Kevin, that's twice this month you've been in the finals, not bad on a new bike with no boost control
Wish I could say the same about the SEMDRA race... I qualified 2nd in Super Gas, then lost on a double breakout with a 6.20 to his 6.23, catching up to my opponent's .413 light to my .437 - I beat him to the line by .004  But I was happy to go that quick on the motor, with a good (for me) 1.55 sixty foot and 4.09 330'.
I spent most of the trip home imagining routes for the up-pipe... I wonder if it could over the topend, behind the radiator.
Do the housing have only one orientation, or can you point the compressor however you want?

Use some of that flexible exhaust tubing from JC Whitney and run it wherever you like. LOL
Sounds like you drew a tough one. That baby is running though. You gonna use your same engine setup and blow through your Mikunis or stockers?

I'm gonna blow through flatslides, and cut my compression to around 9:1 with an .080 base plate I got off eBay for $8 last year. That's how the whole turbo idea started actually, with a bargain on a spacer
Great idea with the flex-tubing!!! If I run enough coils of it, it'll act like an intercooler!!! LOL

Not to worry, I'll paint it camoflauge, you'll never notice it.
Seriously, I looked and the up-pipe will most likely have to go around the motor. Can the entry into the plenum be at the side? Seems like every plenum I've seen has it centrally located.
