swingarm question

On the stock arm, can the bridge piece in the middle be used for an air tank for a shifter. Sort of like the tracdynamics arms.

I think cutting that section out and welding in a piece designed for holding high pressure would work. Dont think the stock one will work.

What is more high pressure than the steel that is already welded in place. As long as the welds are good it should hold air. A top notch welder told me that. Has anyone tried it.

I thought the swingarm was aluminum? I didnt say you couldnt use that.. .but I would put a brace with more storage capacity if that were something I needed.

I've heard some will and some won't hold air. They didn't weld it with the idea of holding air but it looks plenty stout to me for a low pressure tank.
