BEST 60 FOOTS

Well at the last shootout I had two 1:50's back to back.I had only did a 1:50 a couple of times before. I guess the clutch was perfect. It had about 10 passes on it.
It's a 2000 1290 at 60in.
Oh yea might be selling it, if anyone intrested.
It's clean and have much $$$$$ in it.

1.5ooooh or 1.59? Both are considered "1.5's" but there's a big difference, are you saying you went back to back 1.5(zero) that's pretty impressive for short wheelbase. What was your final ET on those runs?

no doubt, a 1.50 would be very good, especially twice!

60's

Yea Bergie, it was 2 1:50(ZERO) worst of the day was 1:55 it was in the 60in class at the TEXAS SHOOTOUT.
Bike ran 8:90's all day.
Best 8:92 5:91 1/8 @129mph
The thing was doing the short times, all day long.
Best mph was 163mph on that 1:55 60 foot.
The quicker 60's had lower mph as you know.
On the 40shot as soon as I shifted 2nd.
The only wheelie of the day was in the third round, had to get out of it and went 9:04 and lost.
I had SHINE the next round, and he was a couple of tenths faster.
Put SPAZ out 2nd round.

1.50s? Dayum, my 62 inch long zrx does 1.45s all day long. Oh, I thought you was talking bout reaction times. Actually I got my two best 60's this weekend also: 1.55, 1.56. Best 1/8 ever: 6.09 at 121 and best et 9.36 at 153(lots o wind). Backed it up? with a 9.44 at 147.

Yep, that wheelie cost you that race, probably. Ah well. Your ahead of Gbusa on points anyway.

Get that new big bad Red bike yet, Kelly? And are you gonna make it Red River this weekend? I may have to come down there and put a thumping on all you south La. boys if not.

No (0) weight added, I've looked many times and haven't found a good place to add it, and still be legal.
Bossman give me a call later.

You have to build the box yourself or I can tig weld one up. Buy some shot from a gun store, melt lead for ballast. I cant tell yu how much weight, you have to figure that out yourself.

Wheel weights suck. I know someone that had them on his bike, would only run 138 on motor, 170rwhp....my zx12 would constantly run 147-148 all motor, no weight....rotating mass doesnt seem to work very well, unless you have the power to pull it. Just put the weight on your motor or frame.

Best 60 ft. =1.45 (only once ).....then 2nd gear flyswatter action.

Now I am lucky to see 1.5's.

It's attached to the oil pan using bolts and attached to the header using band clamps. I have more detailed photos just not hosted.
