I borrowed this this update from Psychobike.com forums to share with you.
-------------
1000cc Supersport class
Keith Dennis 9.31
Chip Ellis 9.35
BDE's Dustin Clark 9.57 or 9.59
Sonny Kershner 9.55 or 9.56

Keith went a 9.26 after adding weight to the bike to make 600lbs. The scales were not open yesterday. There are only 5 bikes entered right now in 1000SS.
Keith's first run on Prostocker was 7.23 184mph. There are about 13 bikes according to the dragbike.com listings. Todd D. went 7.08 @ 196 or something. Will know more hopefully later. No word on 1000 Extreme.
--------
Other news, SBS class
Mike Slowe goes 7.47 @ 195 and backed up with a 7.53
Hope that helps.

they are going fast but mike slowe could not back up his pass. he has all weekend, and rickey ran a 7.77@180 so he was about 10mph off of where he should be. so add 10mph and he is running 7.6's... his shift shaft broke on that round. so he probably did not hit all his gears! tommorow is another day. we saw rickey right before we left and he was getting ready to put the part in. and rocky blew up his motor on the dyno so he is on a borrowed bike with just a dry kit, just for points. I will update you guys tomorrow!
also Chad Muholland ran a 9.83 to qualify in 6th, Richard Gadson qualifided in 1st with a 9.83................
we got rained out tonight so I still do not have a single pass and then they said we are going right into elimanations in the morning?? so we will see how I do...

Mike, you mentioned Mulholland, you mean Dan's boy??
Is that the 600cc class? It seems a tenth or more faster than last year, and he "only" got 6th? Wow.

600 SS is one of the most competitive classes, I remember at the Gainsville finals last year Richard Gadson was saying he qualified 11th with a 9.98!!! How insane is that the top 11 600cc qualifiers in the 9s! I think Chad is going to clean up this year! He's very good under pressure and can cut a good light, this is a heads up class and anything can happen, the qualifying order doesn't always translate to the finals! GO CHAD!

This prostar was not a good one for kawasaki. I was/am kinda bummed. Chad redlighted against chip in 600ss.Chuck cunningham and barry lost to the same guy in sbs.Steve johnson won his first event in 9 years when he beat geno scali in the prostock final. Rickey went out 1st round in sbs.

Hello Guys...
Took our time coming home and just got in a while ago.
Great to see Harry and Mad Mike again. Lydia and I made about 3 or 4 trips down to your trailer but kept missing you.
Got to visit with and pick Horsepower Mikes brain some more, man he knows those engines for sure!
Even hooked up with Kevin before we pulled out, his Turbo ZRX is SHARP!! Speaking of turbos...I rode a 'Busa (Lord forgive me) that Velocity just finished for a friend. It's got the works, complete with a Carpenter head. It makes 525rwhp according to Barry and it was a RUSH!
Back to racing:
Rickey had problems all week-end and lost in the first round. Ryan fought electrical gremlins on the PS bike and was taken out in the first round. Chip put out Chad in the semi, they both redlit, Chad was worse! Chad did lay down a 9.71 in the second round which I think is the second quickest all time 600 Supersport run so he was pretty stoked. Chip lost the final to Vince Woska on a GSXR 600, the first time a Suzuki has won a 600 race. He was running 9.80's all week-end and did a great job plus he's a good kid.
Chip made it to the semi on the ZX10R before getting put out. He WILL be faster when the new 10 comes in. A friend and local rider beat Shine in the final on a GSXR1000, Shine was the quickest of the week-end but blew the clutch out in the final.
That's it for now & we're looking forward to Atlanta next month.
