warrior vs vmax Who here has either one of these and what do you think of them as a street bike?
I had a short stint on a friend's piped/dj-tuned vmax...was kinda' cool...I was wondering how the warrior is with the same mods?
I'm leaning towards the warrior...cuz' its 'newer'...all that vmax motor needs is a newer chassis, I think...

The Warrior is cool. Little more modern than a Vmax.
The negative about a Max is the shaft drive. Kinda sucks and puts a hurting on your wallet if you try to convert it.
The Warrior can be made into a decent power crusier with a few bolt on items from Orient Express and Patrick Racing and it has modern sportbike parts... like 17" wheels, swingarm , forks, etc.

Don't forget the Warrier IS a TWIN...it DOES Vi-Ber-Ate a LOT more than a Max...Max-s are smooth compaired the Warrier...
Never owned either but have DynoTuned and riden both in town and on the highway...
The Max will SPANK THE PANTS OFF of the Warrier...for SURE...
I just don't like the feel of V-Twins...no matter who makes them...

Why not look at a Vulcan 2000 if you are looking at a Warrior. You will start with more hp and torque...

I sat on a Vulcan 2000 that was hidden in the back room at my dealer...HEFTY!...and I could do without that monstrosity of a headlight system...but stick that torque monster motor (uh...I mean engine) in a MeanStreak and I'd be all over it....make mine Green.... ____________ “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men
