repack a stock can
can u repack a stock exhaust on the 12? the rivets dont look like they go back in as easy once u have taken it all apart compared to an aftermarket exhaust?
does anyone make repack kits for the stock exhaust on a 12?

Are you sure there is some packing material inside a stock 12 can? I once took apart the stock cans from my ZX-11 and they were steel only everywhere with no material that could degrade. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it is the same for the OEM 12's can.

Why would you want to repack a stock can??? You could buy a used one for about $20 or less.
Goes under the "Not worth it" category.

Only packing in the 2000 can is between the outer appearance wall and the inner wall, which is perforated . The rest of the can is just a series of metal baffles. I assume the later models are the same.
