04 12R - What Happenned?
To the "petal" front and rear brake rotors?
They weren't on the one at the show and they don't appear in the literature either?
The 12 was getting those - right?

That's the ZX-10R that got those wave rotors for 2004, not the ZX-12R.

They haul you down pretty good without fear of warpage... so yes they do.
Im gonna try some different pads in the next few weeks still got the stockers on.

Put the Brembo kit on mine - biggest difference was the handling.
The bike transitions side to side seemingly effortless now (the way I think it always should have been).
I wondered if it was just the rotors or the whole kit.

Lighter rotors will create less gyroscopic effect because of less rotating mass. If you really what faster transitions and much better overall handling, put on lighter wheels. Night and day difference, effects suspension, and braking also!

I just had the Brembo Upgrade Kit put on mine. Haven't ridden the bike yet with them, but they look sweet.
The Brembo's are 4-pot? They have (4) pistons per caliper vs the stock (6) pistons per caliper. Also, each caliper has (4) separate pads vs (2) separate pads.

I was talking about 2 per side vs 3 for stock... or 4 total vs the stock 6.

2 per side with 2 brake pads per side.
I understand the gyroscopic effect and am looking forward to puttin a set of OZ's on the bike sometime next year ($ willing).
